Delores Gates Obituary
CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Delores Louise Gates, 93, passed away peacefully on Jan. 11, 2017 at Bath Creek Estates, where she resided due to dementia and early stages of Alzheimer's.
A funeral service will take place TODAY, 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Homes McGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL, 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail) in Cuyahoga Falls, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. McGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL, CUYAHOGA FALLS

Rob, Morgan, Marisa, Justin, Richie and Linda, Please know that you are all in my thoughts and on my heart today. I was so sorry to hear of Dolly's passing. She was such a sweetheart. Unfortunately, Dick and I are out of town this week. We are not far away but I have volunteer obligations that I can't get away from. I am so sorry. Love you all, Monica

Dolly has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. She touched our family in so many ways and every one is a beautiful memory. So many picnics, dinners and just good times and a lot of laughter. What a wonderful woman I had the pleasure to have in my life. Rex and I, as well our children, Karl and Lori, will truly miss her and have a special place in our hearts. Her good times with my father, Glenn, and all the poetry he wrote for her over the years. We'll all get together for Rasicci's chicken and pizza!! Love and smiles...always.

God blessed her life in that everyone she met she shared her love of life and the sweetness of her soul. My heart goes out to her family. Her light that shone will never be forgotten. Always in our hearts.
