Doris R. Borges, age 87 of Akron, Ohio, died March 6, 2007.
Preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur H. Borges; she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Charles Monroe of Fairlawn, Ohio; and Carolyn and Jonathan Allen of Ellington, Conn; four grandchildren, Jeremy Allen, Joseph (Kelly Cullen) Allen, Caroline and Michael Monroe; great-grandson, Liam Allen; and sister, Viola Rig Geyer.
A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. SATURDAY, March 17, 2007 in the Carrell Center at Rockynol Retirement Community. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rockynol Retirement Community, 1150 W. Market St., Akron, OH 44313. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)

doris was a well respected teacher and friend of all the faculty at half hollow hills h s . she had a quiet dignity that is rare today .we will remember her in our thoughts and prayers .
