Edith E. Heller, 75, of Akron, passed away Aug. 20, 2006.
Edith was born Jan. 9, 1931, in Geissen, Germany. She married Carl Frank Heller on Oct. 3, 1953, and moved to the United States in 1954. Edith was a homemaker all her life, and enjoyed gardening, knitting, and crocheting. She was also a member of Milheim United Church of Christ. She was a loving wife and mother and will be missed by all who knew her.
Edith is survived by her husband, Carl; children, Carl (Sheri) Heller of Palm Bay, Fla., Wessley (Bonnie) Heller, Linda Zonnevylle, Raymond (Sue) Heller, and Donna (Tom) Dilyard; grandchildren, Carl Richard (Missy) Heller, Wesley Heller, Jennifer (Richard) Debow, Jason Zonnevylle, Kristina Zonnevylle, Christopher Adkins, Elizabeth Adkins, Joshua Heller, Jacob Dilyard, and Zane Dilyard; great-grandchildren, Carl Michael and Savannah.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation. Online condolences may be sent to

I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing.When we were little you were my best friend.I lived on a farm just over the hill behind your house.Your mom was one of the sweetest moms i've ever known.I'm sure you all made her proud and she is surely in heaven sitting right beside GOD rocking all the babies to sleep.... just know that you're in my thoughts and prayers in this time of sadness and i will always have fond memories of you and your family.
