We were surprised and sad to hear of Ed's passing. Our deepest sympathy to his family and friends. As assistant pastor of Christ UM Church (Akron) I worked with Ed when he was our organist there. When we were members of Woodland UM Church Ed was the organist there. He played the organ at our wedding. He was always helpful and we had many laughs together. He had the greatest smile and sense of humor. I will always remember Ed with a smile. May God comfort you and give you peace.

Our Heavenly Father You have called on one great man to come home to your throne for this we are deeply saddend. But we all know that Ed is in a much better place. For that we owe you all the glory. To Ed's family my thoughts and prayers are with you, to Ed's Charleston friends, my family included we have lost a very wonderful friend, a very caring man, and a musican with many talents.
