Edward R. Pluck, 53, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 24, 2006.
Born in Akron, Edward was a lifetime area resident. He was employed with Kendale Industries for the past 32 years.
Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bertie Pluck, Edward is survived by his sons, Andrew and Matthew (Kristin); grandchildren, Meriki and Isaac; brothers, Robert (Beverly), David (Tina), and John; sister, Penny (John) Leonard. He is also survived by a niece and several nephews.
Funeral service Monday, 11 a.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, with Pastor Jonathan Carey officiating. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. (Hopkins Lawver, Akron, 330-733-6271.)
