Dear Sowers Culver Family...

I wish to offer you my condolences on the loss of Elaine. She was a godly saint, who loved Jesus and people very much. I often visited her in the nursing home and got to know her well. I will always cherish and hold close to my heart the song "In the Garden" one of her very favorites. It refects the love relationship she had with Jesus and has also now been an encouragement in my own faith, because she pointed out the beauty and truth of that song.

I grieve with you, but I also rejoice with you, knowing that she is now face to face with Jesus. She is no longer suffering. She can speak again in clear sentances with no struggle. She is now with her beloved mom, whom she always spoke of. She is also with Jerry again. This gives us great comfort in the hope we have for her future.

While my own tears flow in grief over her loss, I also smile, knowing that my life has been touched, formed, and changed because of her.
Your family is in my prayers as you grieve, remember, celebrate her life and her future, and find a way to walk forward.

In His love and compassion,
