Elbert Baker Obituary
Beloved husband of Mary Ellen (nee McDonald); loving father of Carolynn (Tom) Burkholder, Wendy (Kazunari) Katakura, Nancy (Charlie) Peters, Martha (Yosuke) Tashiro, and Christopher "Tim" (Hiroko) Baker; devoted grandfather of 15 and great grandfather of five; dear brother of Jane Nord, and the late Carlotte Van Ordstrand and Ann Body.
Bake served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corp.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 7, 2012 at JOHNSON-ROMITO FUNERAL HOME 19 E. MAIN ST. (ON THE SQUARE) HUDSON, OHIO (330)650-4181 from 1 to 2 p.m. with a celebration of Bake's life beginning at 2 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet for a graveside service Friday, June 8, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery, 12316 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.

I am so sorry to learn of Bake's passing. I enjoyed working with him at Firestone, and flying with him in his Piper--showing him my Sopwith--seeing his SeaHawker--he was a great guy--Bill Woodall
