Erick D. Stembridge went home to be with the Lord on May 16th, 2017. Celebration of Life will be held May 27th, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Marco Sommerville Funeral Home, 1695 Diagonal Rd., Akron, Ohio. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Condolences may be sent to 744 Sylvan Ave., Akron, OH 44306. Detailed obituary provided at the service.

Much love to you Big Bro! You have called me your little brother then up until now. You have protected me for years. Your famous qoute " Is anybody messing with you Ray Ray?" I would say NO! even if they was, because I knew the end result would be.... Ouch! Lol. This is very difficult for me man... I have your silly voicemail stating you will see me in GA on May 24th, 2017 and you were going to bring me some fertilizer for my missing hair lol. So many stories to share. I enjoyed our time we had with you on the earth. You have graduated and surley we will all see each other again. I know that sleep is good bro, don't be snoring too loud. Love, Ray Ray
