Dearest Jan and John,
Pam and I are so sorry for your loss. Although we were not privileged to know Fern very long, we remember her infectious smile and her sweet disposition. We know how much you cared for your Mom, Jan and your dedication to her well-being in her last years was an inspiration to us both. May you now be comforted by His Love and Grace which never fail us during these difficult times and by the love of all those around you.

I know the loss of your mother is great.
The memories will always be greater. I loved the way she was always a lady, in the way she dressed, acted, and treated others. I do remember her at the Hospital volunteering joyfully. The welcome site of a familiar face and her attitude were always appreciated. I love the way she taught her daughters to be God fearing
ladies. This is one mother I have known since a small elementary school girl. She was always a breathe of fresh air. She is in a far better place than this world offers.

Williams Family,
What sweet memories I have of the Manchester folks that impacted my life. The laughs... the tears... the cemetery... the horses...talents shows and carnivals. It was only later in life that I would realize our growing up years were a blessing that too few experience in their lifetime. Ferne was kind, selfless and ultimately carried out her life with dignity and love... she loved the Lord, her family and those that had the privledge of knowing her. Thank you Ferne but being a role model and for being a part of my life. Love to all.

Jan, Nancy, Susan, Judy, & Families:
I am saddened to know that Ferne has passed away but blessed that she is no longer suffering. She now has a new body, new mind, and is in the company of those she loved and cared for.
She has been a piece of my life since I was 11 years old. In fact I walked up to Barberton Hospital yesterday for lunch and half expected to see her in her pink jacket,smiling, and sitting at the desk.
May God Bless you all; as no matter how long we are blessed to have our Moms...it is hard to let go. May God wrap his arms around you and keep you together.

Ferne was such a beautiful woman - inside and out. I have many memories of her with our church, activities at her house for the youth and visiting her with my mom. One thing I know for sure, she loved and was proud of her family! May the Lord give each and everyone of you comfort during this time of seperation from your mom, sister-in-law, grandmother. I know she is sure enjoying walking those streets of gold with our Lord!
