Gary was in my high school class of 1971 and made our senior year's basketball team which was (I believe) the first year of the Greynold's dynasty. That winning team saved our class from total sports depression, and Gary's contributions are still fondly remembered by the purple spirit man (me). Gone but not forgotten. RIP Gary.

I haven't seen Gary in 30 years but I went to Santrock, Highland and BHS with him. We played together at Lake Dorothy and had some good times for sure. Hell of a ball player too. Thanks for the memories Gary, rest in peace now. Bill Rushin Va. Beach, VA.
