We lived across the street from Hannah for several years before her family moved to Uniontown and our family moved to Copley. Mom (Mary Watson) and Hannah remained good friends until my mother died in 2005. The two things I remember most about Hannah was her love for dachshund puppies and her laugh. She was a good person and I am glad I had the opportunity to know her.

Hanna was my grandma Lettie Whitakers dear best friend for many years. They lived across the street from one another and enjoyed the kind of deep friendship that last a lifetime.
I always admired Hanna greatly ,such a classy women who was always dressed perfectly not a hair out of place ,nails done and carried herself with so much pride and grace.
I spent much of my childhood at grandmas house across the street and we would always be welcomed warmly by Hanna when we went there to visit with a big hug tight squeeze and a kiss on the cheek never to busy to stop drop what she was doing just to talk and visit . We watched the humming birds she so loved out the windows at the feeders and played with her wienner dog suzie . Not a visit went by that we didnt get to see her face light up as she spoke of her pride and joy how proud she was of her son(Robert) but she referred to him to us in stories as" my Bobby ".
I also had the privledge of knowing her husband and love of her life , he taught me to swim and float on my back as a child they both are in some of my fondest childhood memories...
As sad as we all are to have Hanna go, her beloved husband Robert who has been waiting so long patiently welcomed her with arms streched out and now can say my angel is finally home for eternity...

I only met Hanna a couple of times, although I had heard her name fondly mentioned often.
I found her to be a delightful lady and elegant host when her friends Donna Moore and Loretta Hafle (my sister)
gathered with her. Remember the good times to give you comfort. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

Our relationship w/Hanna was at Westlawn United Methodist Church in Akron, Ohio. She was extremely thoughtful & sweet. I can't say enough about her. She had my husband and our 4 children out to her house to swim. Unfortunately because of health problems in my family the last time I had lunch with her & Louise Johnson was several years ago. She was a terrific human being & will be missed. Our thoughts & prayers to her family. Jim & Marilyn Frank, Norton, Ohio
