(nee Zaruba)

Helen Stokes (nee Zaruba), 81, a resident of Hudson, Ohio for the past 50 years, beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Stokes Sr.; beloved mother of Arthur J. (A.J.) Stokes Jr. (wife, Nancy) of Hudson, Ohio, Allan Stokes (wife, Kim) of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Patricia Cook (hus band, Donald) of Hudson, Ohio, died Wednesday, April 6, 2005.

Helen was a member of St. Mary Parish in Hudson.

The family suggests that me morial contributions be made to the Volunteers of Hudson EMS, 27 E. Main St., Hudson, Ohio 44236. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 340 N. Main St., Hudson, Ohio, on Saturday, April 9, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. (EVERYONE TO MEET AT CHURCH). Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hudson, Ohio. Friends will be received at Johnson-Romito, a Golden Rule Funeral Home, 19 E. Main St. (on the square), Hudson, Ohio (330-650-4181), Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
