Howard Krager Obituary
Then and Now
Howard W. Krager, 91, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015.
Howard was born on October 26, 1924 in Akron, Ohio. Howard was a World War II Navy Veteran, Lifetime Member of Mogadore V.F.W. Post 8487 and a Lifetime Member of Mogadore Moose Lodge 1082. He retired from Teledyne Monarch Rubber Company in 1988.
Howard was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was a friend to all that knew him and will be deeply missed.

Howard was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie A. Krager; father and mother-in-law, Andrew and Jeanette Barclay; brother-in-law, Jack Barclay; grandson, Philip Abood; great-granddaughter, Samantha Sugden; great-grandson, Tyler McHenry.
He is survived by loving wife of 69 years, Geraldine (Jerry) Krager; his children, Jack (Faye) Krager, Carol (Mel) Garretson, Buzz (Becky) Krager, Don (Theresa) Krager, Jeff (Patty) Krager, Kelly (Gary) Nellis; 26 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Barclay; three nieces and one nephew.
Family will receive friends on Monday, November 30, 2015, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at 1 p.m. also at Newcomer Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations may be made in Howard's honor to Mogadore VFW 8487. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerAkron.com.

My Sincerest condolences to your entire family. In the short time I got to spend with Howard I got to know some of you and see how much everyone cared for him, I liked Howard quite a bit myself and our little back and forth banter when it was time for medication or Blood sugars checks.
