Isabel Rush Obituary
CUYAHOGA FALLS Isabel E. Rush, 87, died at her residence June 13, 2002.
Mrs. Rush was born in Cuyahoga Falls, grad uated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1932, and resided in Cuyahoga Falls her entire life. She received her Bachelor of Science in Technical Edu cation degree in 1973, Master of Science in Technical Education degree in 1979, and doctorate in education in 1983. She had been a profes sor at the University of Ak ron, a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ, an active member of Falls Chapter 245 O.E.S. for over 50 years, and was a member of the Order of the Amaranth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married in 1936, George A., and son, David, and is survived by her nephew, Jerry (Marcy) Endsley of Roswell, Ga.
Friends may call from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, where an Order of the Eastern Star service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Monday, and a funeral service will be con ducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Kirk Bruce officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 130 Broad Blvd., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221. (Clif ford-Shoemaker, 330-928-2147.)

I worked with Isabelle at The University of Akron in the 1980s. She was a delightful and wonderful woman who added a lot to my life, and I'm sure to the lives of others. She was always very thoughtful and kind to me. I'm sorry to hear of her passing. She will be missed.
