Jack Blaurock Obituary
Jack E. Blaurock, 74, passed away on December 17, 2016. He was born in Akron, Ohio on June 29, 1942, to Dorothy E. and Robert J. Blaurock.
Jack is survived by his first mate of 16 years, Susan Guban; son, Brian (Lorraine); brother, Thomas (Louise); and his beloved dog, Cricket.
He successfully founded Akron-based, Incorporated Door Systems, where he was president and owner for 39 years. Jack was a Charter Captain in Port Clinton, Ohio for many years and was happiest on Lake Erie where he lived life to the fullest and had many incredible friendships.
Per Jack's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Memorial donations can be made to the Humane Society of Ottawa County, 2424 Sand Road, Port Clinton, OH 43452. Friends and family are asked to raise a "snapper" in celebration of Jack's life! To leave a special message for the family, visit www.NewcomerAkron.com.

I had only spent time with Jack on occasion, but he seemed to be a noble man; one who really loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. I enjoyed my time spent with him, and wish to express my condolences to all those in his life and family.
