Jack E. Hogue, 68, of Munroe Falls, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 19, 2006, at home, with his family by his side.
Born June 26, 1938, in Akron to Clarence and Elsie (Fairhurst) Hogue, he is survived by wife, Ruth; children, Jack (Cheryl) Hogue, Lori (Howard) Thompson, Lisa (Harold) Pitcher, David and Scott Hogue; sisters, Dorothy (Bob) Hoffman of Bath, Shirley (Ron) Sharpless of Macedonia; brother, Jim (Kathy) Hogue, of Brandon, Fla.; eight grandchildren, and eight great- grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 23, 11 a.m., at the Chapel of Prayer Baptist Church, 1811 Brittain Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chapel of Prayer Baptist Church. (CREMATION SOCIETY OF OHIO, 330-535-1012.)
