Jacob Selzer Obituary
Jacob Selzer, 89, passed away December 2, 2014.
Jacob was born October 10, 1925 in Akron to the late Jacob F. and Jeanette Selzer. Jacob served in the U.S. Marines during World War II and the U.S. Navy Seabees during the Korean War. He worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. for 35 years and was a member of Adoniram Masonic Lodge # 517.
Jacob was preceded in death by seven of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Norine; sons, Michael (Debbie), Philip (Peg), Robert (Karen) Selzer; grandchildren Jason, Sherrine, Tyler and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Rowan and Lachlin and a soon to be born great-grandson; sisters, Glenora Cross and Janet Fessler.
Per Jacob's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service was held. Inurnment was at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. To leave a special message online for the family, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.

I'm so sorry to hear of Uncle Jacob's passing. I'll always have fond memories of him, but the most memorable is how he taught a crow to speak. He seemed to love nature and animals. I pray God's comfort for all of you at this time.
