My Dad. A wonderful husband,father,grand-
father, son, brother and friend. A real man.I will never forget the sacrifices he made on everyone's behalf, especially
myself. The countless nights of bringing
dinner to him at R.B. Stout, since he
had to finish a sixteen hour day and
prepare for the next. When majority of
men took off work for a cold, he cont-
ued to work with serious illnesses. He
taught Jim,Chad and myself everything we need to be great men. But at the same
time, taught us that our own choices
would decide who we are. Wherever we went as kids, everyone knew he was there. Whether they liked it or not, everyone had to respect him. He earned it. He helped everyone he possibly could
when they needed it. When someone was at
there lowest point, my Dad is who stepped
up to the plate. Some may have thought he
was the toughest and meanest man alive,
but everyday he showed me how big of a
heart he had. Whenever I asked for any-
thing, or did something wrong, he always said " it's alright honey ".
Everything he did, from work ethics, to
helping people, to his long physical
rehab, was all heart. For most of his
adult life, his health caused him so much
pain and anguish, but he never stopped
sacrificing. He endured till the end. My
Dad, " a block of granite ".
Dad, thank you for everything you did for us. I only wish I would have done
more for you. You will always live
through Joseph, Julia, Joy and myself. I am proud to be your son, but even prouder that you are my father. I love you.
Your son,
Joseph

"Jim" as we knew him at Edwin Shaw, was a friend to all and an inspiration to many. He worked so hard to improve his own situation and encouraged others working through their own difficulties to never give up. He spoke so lovingly of his sons and family and he cared about his fellow rehab friends. We hope Jim and his Edwin Shaw buddy Paul are united in a better place and entertaining their new friends like they always did all of us.
We will always remember you with great fondness Jim.
Our condolences to the family,

Dad, thank you for everything. I may not have been there, and we may not have had a relationship but I always thought of you. When things got difficult, when I incountered a problem that I just could not solve, or when I just felt like giving up. You came to mind. "I dont want to here I can't" is what came to my mind. I could always hear you say that when something stumped me. You are what made me thrive to be better and achieve the things that I have. Thank you for making me who I am today. I will always remember you, your one liners, and everything that have taught me. I know you are looking down over me now. Thank you again for everything. Your son

Ant you were always special to me you always made me feel special no matter how I screwed up. I remember when you taught me how to drive in your brand new chevy truck and how i got new blue jeans and how you made me go through the drive through and i spilled the coke and let go of the steering wheel and all i seen was this big hand coming across my face and it was so funny we both laughed and i will never forget that. I will always love you and i will always treasure my memories of you.
