I am very surprised and saddened to read of Jim Patrick's untimely passing. Jim worked for me in the Newspaper Ad Dept. of the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. He was a pleasant, good-natured young man at the time (in the 1970s). I still have a book that was signed by Jim and co-workers and gifted to me when our department was disbanded. I think that some close to Jim referred to him affectionately as "Jamie."
I lost track of Jim when he began to work for a publishing company in Cleveland, as I remember. We had a common interest in East Liverpool as he was from there and I lived there decades earlier when my Dad worked for the East Liverpool Review. My condolences to Jim's
family who will miss his good humor.
