James Valentine Obituary
WADSWORTH Reed Valentine was born in Akron and passed away November 20, 2004 at the age of 73.
He was re tired from the Erie, Erie Lackawanna, Conrail R.R. and was a member of the Akron chapter of the Erie Lack awanna Veteran Association. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict. Reed was a great sportsman, playing basketball and bowling on the Akron leagues, fishing on his cabin cruiser on Lake Erie and later spending the winter in Florida. He enjoyed playing cards and was a great polka dancer.
He was preceded in death by his father Bert Gornflo; mother and stepfather, Anna and Ralph Millard; brothers Glenn and Merle Gansen, and Ralph Mil lard Jr. Left to mourn his pass ing is his loving wife of 44 years Jeanette; son, Jim (Lillian); daughter, Laura Massey; grand children, Brandi, Tina James Massey, Angel and Mike Valentine; great-grandson, Daniel James Massey; brother, Don (Gladys) Millard; and many other family members and friends. He was a friend to all and will be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place upon his request and a memori al service will be held at a later date. (Hilliard & Mullaney, 330-334-1501).

My deepest sympathy goes out to Jeanette and the rest of the Millard family.Reed was a co worker in Akron until I transfered to Mansfield, Ohio.I attended many Erie veteran Assoiciation picnics.
