It's coming up on a year here in a little over a month, seems like just yesterday we were all standing around your bed at the Hospice. That was the hardest thing I think we've ever been through. We all miss you so much papa, and that will never change. I hope your watching over us from above, our guardian angel.
With Much Love, *Courtney*

"If tears could build a stairway, and memories were a lane, I'd walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why. My heart still aches in sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it meant to lose you, no one will ever know."
Almost 4 months since you've been gone, but it seems like just yesterday. Keep watching over us, we love and miss you so much Papa.

I'm so tired that I can't sleep
standing on the edge of something much too deep
It's funny how I feel so much yet cannot say a word
we are screaming inside oh we can't be heard....
Miss You. Love You.

All our tears have reached the sea.
Part of you will live in me,
Way down deep inside my heart
The days keep coming without fail.
New wind is gonna find your sail
That's where your journey starts.

I always thought that when it rained, it was because angels cried, because they knew someone had passed away. Now I know they don't cry for those who have died, they cry because they feel the pain of those who are left behind.
Love You Papa.

Joyce and family,
As you all probably know, Jim & I have been friends since we were six years old and were like brother and sister, spending all our time together as children. Although we didn't see each other often in later years, when we did the connection was always there; he was still "the brother who taught me almost everything". Your husband/father/grandfather was a gentle, caring and loving person. I cherish all the memories I recall daily and miss him very much as I know all of you do. My heart goes out to all of you.

Dear Joyce, Theresa, Erin, Eric, & Kyle,
I was so saddened to hear of my cousin Jim's death. He was such an important part of my childhood, as were all of you. Joyce, I remember so clearly the visits of you and Jim with the children to my parents' house. And Theresa and Erin, do you remember our shared childhood experiences? May our shared wonderful memories of Jim remain alive in all of our hearts!

Woodling family,
My wife, Hazel Rose Hess, graduated with Jim from Coventry, and I was one year behind in the class of '57. I played on the same baseball team with Jim for two years, while at Coventry. We had many good memories of youthful days gone by. We will be praying for your family at this time. We know that "God can supply all of your needs" at this crucial time. May God bless your family.
