Jerome DeAngelo Obituary
Jerome Dominic DeAngelo, 81, passed away at his home in Stow surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. Jerry was born to James and Polly (Pisciotta) DeAngelo on July 8, 1936 in Akron, Ohio.
He is survived by his brother, Jimmy (Lillian) DeAngelo; his partner, Susan Riley; his sons, David (Terri) DeAngelo, Daniel (Liz) DeAngelo; daughters, Debra (Tom) Walker, Diane (Guy) Farthing, Dana (Tim) Sinchok and Julie DeAngelo; two nephews, 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, James and Polly DeAngelo and grandson, Logan Walker.
Jerry was a machinist by trade and apprenticed several young men through his company, DeVoy Industries. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, classic movies and anything Shirley Temple. To honor Jerry, the family will have a small graveside gathering followed by a dinner. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve. (REDMON, STOW, 330-688-6631)

I knew Jerry through business for 30 years or more. When I would take him a drawing, part of doing business with Jerry was sitting down, having a cookie and a coke, and talking for an hour or two. And the talk was always fascinating! I will miss him. My condolences to Susan and the rest of his family.
