John Mihalik Obituary
John S. Mihalik, 95, passed away April 25, at Pleasant View Care Center in Barberton.
Born in Akron, Ohio in 1910, John had been an area resident his entire life. He was employed as a stockroom worker for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., retiring in 1972 with 25 years of service. John was also employed by both the Veterans Administration in Washington D.C. and for the Akron Beacon Journal.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine and brother, Julius. He is survived by his sister, Helen Zeis of Georgia; nieces, Marsha Votaw, June Glover, and Sharon Piper; nephews, Larry Miller and Rus sell Howard.
Funeral services will be held TOMORROW, April 28, at 10 a.m. at the Kucko-Anthony-Ker tesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Wa terloo Rd. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends TODAY from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations in John's memory may be made to The Humane Society, 2100 L St. N.W., Washington, DC 20037.
