Joseph A. Demeter, 79, of Akron, died Friday, October 12, 2007.
Joe was the Caddy Master at Rosemont Country Club for 35 years and also worked at Summit County Welfare Dept. as an accountant. He was co-founder of Paradise Tree Farm.
Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas; and sister, Julie Webb. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; and their children, Joseph (Debra), Michael (Sue), James Demeter and Beth Ann (Brad) Hickson; grandchildren, Thomas, Katherine, Victoria and Henna; sisters, Margaret Demeter and Anne Latimer; sister-in-law, Marilyn Demeter; and brother-in-law, Chris Palavranoff.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 10 A.M. at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 476 Mull Ave. Interment in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY, 3475 Copley Rd, on Monday from 4 to 8 P.M. Memorial donations may be made to St. Sebastian Church 476 Mull Ave. Akron 44398-2006.
