Swiatkowski
Joseph J. "Joe" Swiatkowski, 87, passed away July 24, 2002.
Joe was born in Boston Township and lived in the Akron area most of his life. While living in Akron, Joe was a member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church and the Polish American Club. He was also the founder and chairman of the board of Hickory Harvest Foods.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline; daughter, Barbara Jean; parents, John and Victoria Swiatkowski; brother, Michael Swiatkowski; sisters, Helen Sob czak, Catherine Jeromin, Magdeline Karee, Agatha Dalaski, and his twin, Genevieve Mueller. He is survived by son, George (Darlene) Swiatkowski; grandchildren, Joe (Nicolle), Mike and Michelle Swiatkowski, Jeff Townsen and Julie (Chuck) Harger; great-grandchil dren, Breanne Townsen, Chad and Megan Harger, and was looking forward to Baby Swiatkowski in Oc tober; sister, Valerie Mazur; sister- in-law, Leona Swiatkowski; brother- in-law, Joseph Karee.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, 9:30 a.m., at St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hennes sy-Bagnoli Funeral Home, 936 N. Main St. Procession will start from St. Hedwig Catholic Church on Sat urday at 9:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Catholic Charities Corp., 1111 Superior Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44114.
