I was speechless when I got the call about Josh. It was next to impossible to imagine anything bad or sad could ever be connected to Josh for he lit up a room. In high school, Josh was always one of a kind. He never stopped making us laugh and his laugh was contagious. I am deeply sorry for the loss of one of God's joyful creations. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Widick Family,

I do not know you or your son, but was so moved by all of his accomplishments in the short time he was with us. I'm a mother of a 30 year old son also. I can't imagine the immense grief you have endured with the death of your son. Please know that you are in my prayers and I hope that the happy memories spent with your "Josh" will help sustain you through this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Sharon Deucher

I was fortunate to spend my school years growing up with Josh. Homeroom usually started with us laughing about something silly. Josh had a contagious smile, a warm heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was brilliant and talented. I'm so very sorry for your loss and hope that you find peace and comfort in his fond memories and the love and support of many friends.
