June E. Acker, 78, of Akron, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
She was born on June 30, 1928 in Akron, the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Best) Williams. She was a longtime member of St. Bernards Church in Akron. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren grow and blossom in everything they did. She loved to travel.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by brother, Jerry. June is survived by her husband, Robert of 44 years; her children, Mike (Laurie) of Port Orange, Fla., Tim (Amy) of Rootstown, Chris, Jeff, Lisa, and Karen (Ken) Brown of Akron, and Steve (Michelle) of Beavercreek, Ohio; grandchildren, Erin of Tampa, Fla., Renae and Leah of Rootstown, Dee and Joey of Beavercreek, Ohio; brothers, Jim, Joe, John; and her sister, Joyce.

Visitation will be held Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m. at Adams Mason Memorial Chapel, 791 E. Market St., Akron. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, 10 a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 240 Broadway St., downtown Akron. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
