I will always remember Ken as a happy go lucky man who was so very proud of his wife, Theresa, and children, Katie and Michael. I didn't see him often, but in the 35 years I have known him, family updates is how he opened our conversation. I will always miss his laughter and concern for everyone he knew. Ken, you are a dear friend I will truly miss. Your spirit will live on with us forever.

Ken's passing is more than the loss of a friend. He was one of us. Now my world is smaller; emptier. He shared his life generously with me from day one and it was my honor to be considered one of his friends.
God, please take his soul and look after Teresa - for us. As for myself, his friendship will live in me until the time comes when I will be looking for him somewhere.

Dear VanLieu family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Kenneth was just two years older than my son, Frank Fish, who passed away Dec. 20. The Van Lieus were a great family. They loved their family and all of the kids involved in youth sports. My husband coached PeeWees with your dad, my son played PeeWee ball also. Our daughter Pam Fish, Callahan cheered with Sharon. Those were the good old days in Kenmore. May God comfort you and give you peace. Frank's obit appeared in the ABJ Jan. 15.Donna Fish, Dillon.
