Kimberly was a lifelong resident of Akron. She had spent the past five years working at the Carousel Dinner Theatre. Her true love in life was her children, whom she spent most of her free time with.
She is survived by her parents, John and Patricia Lucas; her daughters, Melissa, Teresa, and Patricia; her son, David; and her brother, John.
Memorial services will take place at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., on Thursday, Oct. 13, at 3 p.m., where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the beginning of the service, Pastor Steve Bucy officiating. I am so sorry for all of your loss. I used to babysit for Kim and she was always such a fun highspirited person. My deepest sympathies. from myself and my family Carl and Paulette Johns.

i am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom , daughter and sister. kim and i worked together at the d&k stores several years ago and she was a truly great person. her sense of humor follows me daily although its been a few years since we have seen each other.she was always there to help out and make someone laugh. she will be deeply missed. god bless you all.

I worked with Kim at the Carousel. Kim was a smart, loving person and would always be around to help out. She lived for her children and family. I am sad to know she is gone. My thoughts and prayers go to her family and her beautiful children.
