Kristi Kirkpatrick Obituary
Kristi Ann Kirkpatrick, 47, went home to be with the Lord on July 21, 2004.
She was born March 18, 1957, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Ed and Lucille Kirkpatrick. Kristi was a lifelong resi dent of Akron, where she worked for 20-plus years for the Akron Public Schools. She served as a Deacon for Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, where she was in volved in many missions. She was an avid quilter, collected Longaberger baskets, and had a special love for her church and her neighborhood. Her quiet, caring, and generous nature blessed her with many dear friends.
Kristi is survived by her sister, Karen (Todd) Jones, and nephews, J.D. and Jonathan Jones. Kristi had a special relationship with Dwight Rutan and his family, and they shared many years of love and friendship.
A gathering of friends will be Monday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, 246 Ardwelll Ave., Akron, Ohio, where a memorial service will follow at 6 p.m., with Pastor Brian Nutt officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Deacon's Fund, in care of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church. (NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 784-3334.)

I am so sorry to hear about Kristi. I was just thinking about her about a month ago. I met her in college at Akron U through Debbie Judy and thought she was the sweetest person. She will be truly missed. May God Bless you and your family.
