I just learned of this tragic news. I got to know Kris when she worked at the Dutch Pantry in Wadsworth. She was an absolute sweetheart. Her perkiness and her smile could warm anyone's heart. Unfortunately, after I attended her wedding I lost touch with her. While her life was way too short, it appears it was a happy and fulfilling one. My sincerest condolences to her family. The world is a lesser place with her passing.

Receiving my Christmas card from NEOMED Wasson Center, I was so sad to learn of Kristine's passing. She was so spunky and smiling all the time. What a great plus to us all there. I will miss her but know that the good Lord is taking very good care of her. To the Wagner families, God Bless you all!

Dear Mike, Ashley, and Family,
It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of your beloved mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother, Kris Wagner.
Because I was out of town, I could not attend the services for Kris.
I so wished I could have attended Kris's calling hours and funeral mass to personally express my sympathies to you all and be with you to both mourn her loss and celebrate the tremendous and beautiful life that she lived.
Kris was an absolute treasure to us here at NEOMED.
Her warmth, professionalism, patience, ready smile, good nature, and her genuine concern and compassion for all made NEOMED a much better place. It was my honor and privilege to get to work with her.
Above all, Kris absolutely glowed when talking about you and all of her family.Kris will be deeply missed and always remembered for her beautiful spirit.
May you find peace and comfort in the love of family and friends and in your memories of Kris that you will keep with you forever.
With my deepest sympathies,
Paul Hartung

Although I never knew Kris or any of her family, we are neighbors several doors down at 1141 Corsham Circle. We've know about Kris' illness via the internet. We have seen how many cars and people that have visited and gathered for prayer vigils also. It is very touching to see how much Kris was loved by many! Our condolences go out to Kris' family and friends. May Kris rest in eternal peace with our dear Lord.

I often saw Kris at Queen of Heaven, usually serving in some way. I grew up there and attend sometimes with my parents when I'm in the area. She would always give me that beautiful smile and say hello, even though she didn't really know me, only my mom. One day this past summer, I was talking with some folks in the back of church as Kris was telling them of her possible diagnosis, and she said, again with that smile, "God's plan is bigger than our plan." I thought to myself,"I'm in the presence of a saint." I will never forget her or that moment. I'm sure she will continue her good work from Heaven and that you, her dear family, will be the recipient of many graces through her.

I remember Kris well from Manchester Middle School in the 1970s. She was such a sweet girl. She somehow talked me into dressing up like a Spirit of '76 drummer during a bicentennial festival at school. I haven't talked with her in 40 years, but I never will forget her. My sincere condolences to the Wagner and Cookro families.
