I knew Mrs Fowler when she was Mrs George, teaching at Innes Jr High in Akron, it must have been in 1964 or 65. I recognized her beautiful face, even after all these years. She was the most inspirational teacher I ever had, always encouraging and believing in my abilities, so much so that from her class on, I was never off of the merit or honor roll for the rest of my high school career. There is always one teacher you look back on and think they are the one who influenced you the most, and Mrs. George was mine. To her family, I am so sorry for your loss, but please know that there is one, not so young anymore student, who has never forgotten her. God Bless You and hold her in his memory.
