I just learned that Larry has been promoted to Glory. I was not blessed to have met Larry in person, but we connected through our love of genealogy. Even after we had exchange our family info and photos, he would continue to email me. I cannot begin to tell you how many of my days he has brightened and made me laugh out loud with his "Redneck" emails. May the Lord bless you and comfort you.

Although I never met Larry in person, we talked on the phone, e-mailed each other and exchanged family tree material. Larry being very involved with genealogy located me in Pa while on one of his family research projects. My mother was a Howard also. I am sure Larry will be missed by many.

God Bless

I am devastated that I didn't think to look on-line before 2:pm today; I could've been at the church! Oh, Teri and everyone -- I am so sorry and I miss him already.

Although I did not know Mr. Howard personally, Rob, his son, is a friend of our family. We know from him that Mr. Howard was truly a remarkable man that gave and received a great deal of love and respect to those around him. We are sorry for your loss but know the life lessons passed on by Mr. Howard will always be in your heart and give you comfort.

I worked with Larry for many years at Goodrich. He was a wonderful and sincere man who I admired for his love of life. He helped me find my relatives history from Cameron, WV and I was amazed at the research he did. He was a caring and giving person and he will rest in peace.
