Lena M. Drosenos
Lena M. Drosenos, 78, passed away suddenly September 14, 2009.
She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. 'Mama' to us all, her family was the most important thing to her. Mama was known for her wonderful spaghetti and meatballs. No meal was complete without it. She was an avid reader of books and enjoyed her flowers and puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Thomas and is survived by her children, Carol (Michael) Horak of Stow, Thomas Jr. (Joyce) of Akron and Christine (Jeffrey) Greene of Norton. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael (Jill) Horak of Ravenna, Jason (Sarah) Horak of Cuyahoga Falls, Jana (Scott) Caraboolad of Rootstown, Tammy (J.K.) Mylan of Michigan, Brian (Karina) Drosenos of Cuyahoga Falls, Marisa Greene of Norton, Sarah (Christopher) Ison of Barberton, Aaron Greene of Norton and great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Tessa, Xander, Kaiya, Alex, Landon, Hailey, Max, Ian, Olivia, Kaden, Karter and Ashley.
Funeral service will be Saturday, 10 a.m. at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lena's final resting place will be Northlawn Memorial Gardens.

A few months ago i had to pleasure of having lunch at Eat And Park with my grandma Loretta , my aunt Zana, and my Aunt Lena. There we sat and laughed and what a great time i had......Aunt Lena i love you and will rejoice the day i am able to see you and Uncle Tom along with uncle Tony and my favorite person to ever come in my life my grandfather Frank Buffa. Thinking of all of you today as I learned the news of Lena's passing. There are so many great memories of your Mama-Lena. She and Tom opening their home to share her wonderful meals and making friends feel like family. The holidays and family celebrations were always special with Lena's gift of having more than enough food and love to go around. We'll all miss her. Let God and your memories bring you comfort.

I cannot imagine your heartache, having lost now two parents/grandparent/great grandparents in so short a time. I know how much "Mama" meant to you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My thoughts are with all of Aunt Lena's Family. Im very sorry for your loss... from what I have been told about her from my poppy(Her brother Robert Buffa) and Grandma(Cheryl Buffa), she will be greatly missed.
I wish I would have gotten to know her better but she will remain in my prayers.
