I was always pleased to find a seat open next to Leon at Akron Physics Club presentations, as his tableside commentary was invariably insightful and entertaining. ...Leon left me feeling I got two shows for the price of one. Thanks, Leon!

I cared for Leon as a caretaker often for months where he was living before he passed. He was an amazing human being and taught me so much about life. I still think of him and all he taught me. It was an honor to serve him.

I will truly miss Leon's SMILE!
At our church, where he attended religiously (pardon the pun - Leon would have loved it!), this gentle man always greeted me with a big - and GENUINE - smile.
He invariably approached me with an expression on his face that seemed to imply that we shared some sort of a secret joke.
I may not have been able to recall the specific details reflected in his boyish demeanor, but seeing his smile invariably left me feeling uplifted.
I will miss him - but, like many others, I will remember Leon with a SMILE.
