Lorenzo Collins Obituary
He was born in Akron and lived in this community all of his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Collins was survived by his wife, Freddie Faye, three sons, three daughters, one brother, 18 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 3 p.m. at The Wooster Avenue Church of Christ, 1147 Vernon Odom Blvd. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Interment will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at The Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to 886 Beardsley, Akron 44311.

I had the great pleasure of getting to know Mr. Collins when he would substitute at Copley High School. What a kind man! My condolences to the entire family.
