Mackenzie Belle Meyers, 5, passed away June 10, 2003.

She was born in Akron and lived in Brimfield.

Preceded in death by great- grandmother, Gigi, she is survived by parents, Elizabeth Meyers and Nic Rios; grandparents, Larry and Joan Meyers, Mario and Kathy Rios; uncles, Larry, John (Nikki), Steve (Anna), Tigger (Jennifer), and Jesse; aunt, Lesley (Shawnell); cous ins, Ashleah, Erika, Johnny, Sissy, Erin, Elexus, Warren, Isaih, Zoe; many great-aunts and -uncles; spe cial friends, and best buddy, Toto.

Special thanks to the staff on 4600 in the hema-oncology department at Children's Hospital of Ak ron.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hennessy (formerly Rossi) Funeral Home, 552 N. Main St., Akron, Pastor Dave Hermann officiating. Interment at Hill side Memorial Park. Calling hours will be TODAY from 3 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to the service Saturday. Donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or to Children's Hospital. I think of her all the time but more now than I ever have since she went to be with the angels.....I miss her soooo much. She just turned 6 years old on February 28, she shouldv'e been here to blow out the candles on her cake but, the cool breeze that day had to do it for her. You are very missed Casey. To Boo and Family,
I am not sure if you remember me, but I am Angie's friend, Naomi. I wanted to send my deepest sympathy to you and let you know that you all are in my thoughts. Casey was the brightest, most beautiful little girl I have ever met, and I will never forget her. She was a very special little person, and where there is no comfort in losing someone who meant the world to a lot of people, there comes comfort in knowing that she isn't hurting anymore. Dear Beth, I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your baby girl.I remember comparing baby stories, when you worked for Acme, since our girls were only 4 months apart. She was such a beautiful and intelligent child.I would get to see her when your mom would bring her into the store.My husband read the article in the paper about casey talking about going to see the angels. He said that girl was an angel and she left many people with the message, love your children ,they are angels from god, you never know how long they will be here, cherish every moment you have with them. All of the people you worked with at Acme offer our condolances to you, and will keep you in our hearts and prayers.

Boo and Family, We all will miss Casey very much. No one will every forget those big brown eyes and that awesome smile that was on her face day and night. I will always remember the car rides to the mall when Casey's in the back seat saying "hey mommy turn the music up thats my song". She was always one of the girls and she always will be. She was always a angel but now shes an angel with wings.

Elizabeth, you may not remember me, but I have fun memories of you when you were a little girl. I dated John while in highschool and I grew to love you just like my little sister. I was so deeply saddened to see that you lost your little girl. It made me wish that you were once again that little girl that could be protected from pain and hurt. I am so very sorry. I do know what you and your family are going through, losing a child is so traumatic,please keep your faith and always think of the wonderful times you spent with her.
