I am so sad reading about the death of one of my favorite teachers in grade school at St. Martha's. Sister Mary Esther was by far the epitome of a Godly servant in the way she treated others and shared her devotion to her faith. I'll always remember with fondness the evening she spent at our house during one Christmas season making cookies with my family. We all felt so special having her and Sister Jean there laughing and enjoying the company of my parents and six siblings. When I saw her at St. Martha's many years later, she too recalled that night with that big smile of hers. I extend my deepest sympathy to her entire family. She was and always will be very special to me.
