Mark Demrovsky Obituary

Mark Demrovsky

WADSWORTH -- Mark Demrovsky, 57, passed away after a brief battle with cancer on October 14, 2008.

Mark was born in Yugoslavia to parents, Michael and Ivanka Demrovsky, who preceded him in death. He grew up in Copley, but Wadsworth had been his home for the past 26 years. Mark was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing. He passed that love on to his two sons and many others.

Mark was a member of the American Conifer Society and owned his own landscaping company for many years. He loved being outside working in his yard, which is full of beautiful trees, flowers, shrubs, and many rare plants.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Mary; children, Mark (Amy) of Colorado, Theresa (Tom) Katanic of Arizona, Mike (Amy) also of Arizona; and seven grandchildren, all of whom he cherished and loved dearly. Mark is also survived by brothers, Mitchell, Walt, Tom, George, Pete, and Andy; sisters, Olga (Bodjanac), Miriam (Mrksich), Annette (Niemiec), Ruth (Elcock), Amelia (Kroslak), and Martha Demrovsky. Mark was loved by many and will be sorely missed.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, and one hour prior to services Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Thursday. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Mary, Mark, Theresa, Mike and grandchildren,
As much as we hurt for losing a great brother and uncle, we know your hurt is that much greater. Mark was a wonderful man and always welcomed us warmly when we were in town. He is, and will be sorely missed by all of us. Yet his expression of being at peace with God and "ready to go" gives us much hope and joy of one day being reunited again, never again to part. May the grace shown to Mark be the grace that carries you through these trying and lonely times.
Our love,
Ruth, Ryan, Ashley and Emily

For the Demrovsky family:

My heartfelt condolences go out to all of you. Mark picked out many beautiful, unusual plantings for our home's landscaping, and took such wonderful care of everything. What wonderful knowledge he had! And, Mark was truly a kind man who was concerned about us, and would do whatever he could to help us over the years.

I had no idea that Mark was sick. He was at our house just a few months ago, and planted some beautiful mums. I will think of Mark whenever I see those mums or any of the other beautiful things he planted for us.

My grandmother and I will pray for your family during this difficult time.

Sincerely,
Trina and Minni Carter

Mary, Mark,Theresa, and Mike~

Words cannot express the loss/void that everyone will feel now that Mark is gone. He was a wonderful man who always had a silly way of making you smile no matter how corny the joke. Each of you are in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anything that we can do to make this time easier for you do not hesitate to ask.
Sincerely and with deepest sympathy,
Shannon Bree and Family
