My Grandma was an amazing woman! She was my hero growing up and even still to this day. She was a faithful and loving wife, a great mom, and an amazing grandma, great grandma, and great great grandma. She lived a life that showed me how to live and even more importantly how to love. She had a heart big enough for us all. Family was everything to her and she let everyone know that. I am so glad I have a lifetime of memories to hold onto untill the day that I see her again in heaven. I will always love you Grandma and will miss you more that words can say. Love, Michele (oldest grandchild)

I first met Grandma Floyd when her granddaughter Amanda ("Mandy") and I just began dating. My first impression of her was of a sweet and "smiley" woman. She reminded me of the typical little "grammy" type, who would spoil the grand kids by sneaking them sweets...

The first time Amanda repeated I was in the "dog house" for something I did, I expected a lecture from Virginia...To my surprise she defended ME and told Amanda to be nice! :-) I knew I always liked her!

--All kidding aside, Virginia was a very sweet and kind woman. She never complained even when you knew something bothered her. I've heard many great stories about her as a Grandmother, and a wife of a veteran.

I am glad to know she is able to be reunited with her husband and sisters now. We will miss her presence on earth, but know her spirit is watching over us.

We Love you Grandma, Mike, Amanda, Collin, Devin, Sienna, and Korey.

My husband reads the Bible to Altercare residents and enjoyed meeting Mary, as did I when I go with him. We're so sorry to hear of her passing! She was so sweet and grateful. May God comfort you during this time.
