Mary Lenihan Obituary

Mary P. Lenihan

BRANDON, Fla. Mary P. Lenihan, 84, passed away Jan. 31, 2003.

Born in Barberton, she had been an area resident most of her life until the last few years where she resided in Brandon, Fla. She retired after 27 years as a surgical supervisor from the Cleveland V.A. Hospi tal. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and the Akron City Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of St. Augus tine Catholic Church in Barberton, and a member of the Altar Society. Mary was a proud veteran of World War II, having served in the Army nurse corps.

Survivors include her brother, John R. Lenihan of Akron; sisters, Ellen Stapleton of Atlanta and Geraldine Cuppett of Amelia Island, Fla.; and several nieces and neph ews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, 9:30 a.m., at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling hours will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hahn-Hostetler-Silva Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life path Hospice, 3010 W. Azeele St., Tampa, Fla. 33609.
