Aunt Bessie and the entire Ferrell family. Our prayers and deepest sympathy goes out to you. Uncle Mike was a very special Uncle and mentor to me! I was always amazed about his photographic memory and his vibrant personality. I will always remember the long trips our families had together, my dad Hard Rock and Tigerman talking in the den about their truck driving places, cars and CB’s and the delicious food he would grill and can especially the pickles! I have learn from Uncle Mike to enjoy life to the fullest. I have also taken the idea where he have gave each one of us a unique nickname to apply to my own family and friends. Tigerman (CB name) You will never be forgotten. I am sorry I could not be there but you will always be in heart! German Girl
Oh I forgot we won't step on the grass Uncle Mike. Love you

Cheri and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss.
Daddy Ferrell became my "DAD" too on September 1985. 23 wonderful years ago. I just remember wishing he was really my dad because he always made sure you were never without a car at Central State and he ALways took the family on Vacation every year....So I lived my life through your pictures and lifetime stories....What a Blessing.

My heart goes out to your family. The patriarch has passed on, but he left a legacy of strong people behind. Mr. Ferrell (my play dad) gave us his best. I will miss his smile, his jokes, and the special nicknames he gave everyone. Never take anyone, or anything for granted. Tell those you love that you do, even when it seems like you have said it too much. You never know when it will be the last time. We all someday must make that appointment with Christ. Rest assure that you cared for him while he was with you. He knows that you loved him, and he was free to go home to the Lord. Mom, you were with him for over a half a century. You did a wonderful job taking care of him when he could and when he could not take care of himself. My love and prayers are with you all.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

Cheri and Family - there are no words for a time like this, only prayers and patience will see you through. I am praying for you and your family and I am thankful to God that you had such a wonderful Father and that you had such a wonderful relationship with your Father. Count that as joy, because there are so many girls who cannot say the same thing. We were blessed to have the kind of Fathers who wanted to be a part of our lives and who shared so much of themselves with us. Thank God for that! I am also thankful that your Dad is no longer suffering in the flesh and we are going to praise God that we will one day see him again. In the meantime, weeping may endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning. We love you and are here for you...always!
