Lazarchic
Melba Franklin Lazarchic, 86, passed away May 2, 2004.
Mrs. Lazarchic was born in Ashtabula and had lived in the Akron area for 22 years. She retired from Union Car bide Metals after 24 years of serv ice. She was a member of ZONTA, the Stow Women's Club, the Church of Our Sav iour, treasurer of the Chapel Hills Golf Club, and secretary of Harris Memorial Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Lazarchic was an avid traveler and loved doing crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lazarchic, and son, Bob Lazarchic. She is survived by her son, Jack Lazar chic (Karen); daughters, Judy Hoskins (Trevor) and Pat Cunningham (Dawson); 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. TODAY at the Village at St. Edward, 3131 Smith Rd., Fairlawn, Ohio 44333, with Fr. James Flood officiating. There are no calling hours. Memorials may be made to the Akron General Medical Center Development Founda tion, 400 Wabash Ave., Akron, Ohio 44307. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 330-867-4141.)
