Dear Mrs Kulick & Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Kulick. I have very fond memories of long conversations with the both of you throughout the years. Mr. Kulick was a thoughtful, insightful and caring man. I so enjoyed his opinions and wisdom. I am sure he is rejoicing in heaven and being commended by our Savior, Jesus Christ, for a job well done. God bless all of you at this difficult time and in the days to come.

We were quite shocked at the news of the passing of Mr. Kulick. He was like a second father to all us boys during our high school years, taking us to sporting events, letting us use the roofing company station wagons, letting us play cards and generally taking over the dining room on countless days. Anyone who ever attended a sporting event with Mr. Kulick knows, he never stayed till the end. Well, Mr. Kulick, even thought you stayed a long time on this Earth. you still left too early.
Our thoughts to Marie, Mike and Jimmy... and of course to Mrs. Kulick.

What a shock..what a loss. Our little block on Reed Avenue will NEVER be the same. It has been my privledge (and a comfort) to live across the street from this beautiful, caring, charming couple (mr & mrs. k!). I will forever miss Mikes 'words of wisdom' stories and character. WE LOVE YOU MIKE!!!

What a loss to our family. What a loss to anyone who knew him. When someone in the past would die and it was said: "He was a good man." Mike would say: "He is still a good man". So true! And now we have a good man with a heart of gold helping the angels watch over us.

Honest and natural as a tree rooted in earth
Clinging to tradition like that old wooden pestle
His father used to make wine with
Wood
Like the carved hands of Christ
Hanging over the altar
Holding the faith
Wood
On the end of a steel shank
Slamming a ball, hard and confident
With accuracy and luck, a hole in one
Wood
Carved into bowling pins
Standing like soldiers in uniform
Blasted apart in flying strikes
Wood
A sharp pencil going over books
Turning pennies into dollars
Educating his children
Wood
Skids loaded with roofing materials
Driving a forklift on Sunday afternoon
He helped build an empire once
Wood
Strong reliable timbers shoring a mine
Supportive and kind, strong and enduring
The mine collapsed after he left
Wood
Jesus loved wood to make priceless things,
Sawed and carved by the Master's hands
Dying on wood stained with His blood
Wood
Trees giving praise to our Creator
Rooted in the earth, limbs reaching up
Breathing in life with sacred gratitude
