Michael Leslie Obituary
Michael attended St. Mel's Grade School, is a 1986 graduate of St. Ignatius High School, a 1990 graduate of John Carroll University, and holds a Master's and Medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio. He interned at Metro Health Medical Center and completed his residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2000, where he was the recipient of the Humanitarian of the Year Award. He was associated with Summit Neurology, Akron, and Advanced Neurologic Associates, Bellevue. He was currently on staff at Firelands Regional Medical Center, The Bellevue Hospital, Fremont Memorial Hospital, and Magruder Hospital. He was member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Slovak Catholic Sokols, the Sandusky Yacht Club, Southern Clinical Neurology, and the Clinical Neurology, and the American Academy of Neurologists.
Michael is married to Shannon (Dawson); father of Nicole and Erica; son of Edward and Ruth Ann Leslie of North Olmsted; brother of Maureen (Michael) Streett of Cuyahoga Falls, Colleen Leslie of Olmsted Falls, and Kathleen Leslie of North Olmsted.
Friends and family may call on Friday, November 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Groff Funeral Homes, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 19, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky.
