Mike..wanted to tell you thank you for all the wonderful memories. We really shared great times with our children and your family. Thank you for being so wonderful to Scamp, Steve and Sandy. We really became a wonderful family. Best times of my life are sitting around the campfire with our family at Osage listing to you, Jay and Dan play music. I was so proud of you. From building model airplanes to helping with school projects... you enriched our lives with your presence. I wish you could be here to watch our grandchildren grow. Lea is playing guitar like a pro now...she loves playing music...wonder where she gets that from? Ha Ha! Its too bad that she cant learn from the best. We had alot of fun. "Your still the one"

Mom and I were shocked to hear of Mike's passing. We heard through Jackie Arvay and it was too late to come to the funeral home for viewing. Mike is my distant cousin.(2nd or 3rd cousin) My dad and mom are Steve and Phyllis Kaylo and my grandma was Mary Kaylo (Starling) . We haven't seen family since Fauntell's passing. What a shock to see Mike is gone. He's only a year younger than I am. Music has always been special to our family. I hope you find comfort and peace during this difficult time and holiday season.

I have a lot of great memories of you -- from playing guitars with my dad (whether it was on Christmas, or just some random day you guys decided to tune the instruments), your "Disco Sucks" t-shirt, all of the funny stories you had about dad and grandma Norma..I'm going to miss you and Sandy coming over out of the blue, just stopping by to say "hi", and the cheer you brought to the house. Our family isn't going to be the same without you.
With love,
your niece Nicole
