WADSWORTH -- Mildred Triffun, 92, of Wadsworth, passed away March 19, 2009.
Born March 31, 1916 to the late Louis and Dora Triffun. Ms. Triffun was a member of the Vesper Lake Apostolic Church, and was retired from O'Neil's Department Store where she had been employed as a purchasing agent for many years.
She was preceded in death by brother, Pete Triffun and sister, Milena Forshey. Mildred is survived by brothers, Daniel Triffun of Barberton and Edward (Doris) Triffun of Florida; and sisters, Olga Levandowski of Cleveland, Sophie (Jack) Jones of California and Dorothy Kordich of Michigan. There are many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews also surviving.
The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 North Lyman St., Wadsworth, where funeral services will be conducted 9:30 a.m. Monday. Interment at Mound Hill Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff at Liberty, Residence I and II, and Magnolia Village for the wonderful care they gave to Millie. I have very fond memories of Aunt Millie. As a child, she would visit our family in Southern California and she and I shared our love of old movies. I remember how kind she was and her sense of humor. I will miss her very much.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my sister. Millie was wonderful sister and Doris and I will miss her very much. We are very sorry we could not make the service. Please know she is in our hearts also and memories of my sister will be with us always.

Aunt Millie will be missed by many people. She was always one of our favorites. We wish we could attend the services but we are out of town. We will be in touch.
