Nancy Chula Obituary
AKRON, Ohio -- Nancy Rose Naswadi Chula, 60, died May 17, 2015 after a two year battle with leukemia.
The family will receive friends Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 South Main Street, Akron, Ohio, where a Catholic funeral service will be provided at 7 p.m. A memorial dinner will follow at 8 p.m. at the Hungarian-American Club of Akron at 694 East Waterloo Road, Akron, Ohio. For those who wish, a benefit memorial fund has been established at the U.S. Bank in the name of Nancy Chula Benefit Fund to help the family meet medical and funeral expenses.

I was thinking about her the other day. I miss her, miss her laughter, miss her happiness, miss her smile, miss our talks and her caring heart. She was a true friend. God blessed me when I gained her as a friend.

I miss the morning talks we would have while changing into our scrubs. I miss her laughter. Miss how happy she was when I made her some bread and added homemade jam to it for her birthday.didn't have money but I felt like I have her a million dollars. She loved that gift. She was a true friend. I still miss her.

I miss Nancy so much. I know she is no longer suffering. She is HEAVEN the most beautiful ,peaceful place to be. My prayers go out to you Shane. Your grandma was a great, loving person. She is still in your heart she loves you very much

We not only share grandchildren, but friendship. Nancy always opened her home to us when we came to visit the boys, and for that we are grateful. She will be missed greatly. Much love to the entire Chula family.

Dear Bob and Children: I worked with Nancy at CHMCA. She is a WONDERFUL lady who loved her family dearly. I am so saddened by her passing. Nancy also graduated with my brother from Garfield. We talked often about Garfield and St. Pauls. God Bless you my friend.

Nancy and I were not real close as fellow RAMS. We knew each other and had many great chats! My best memories: her humor, serving on reunion committees and adding humor there as well. Through friends/classmates/family we were able to reach out during her journey; a battle she fought with much vigor and a trooper! Nancy,you're in the arms of the angels, and at peace. Say "hello" to all of our classmates. God bless Nancy's husband, family, friends.

Nancy had a heart of Gold. I would look forward to seeing her come to work so that we could talk and laugh togethet. She blessed me with so many happy memories. Thanks Nancy for making my life a better one, for being there for me at times. RIP
