SHARON CENTER Palma A. "Pam" Stauffer, 80, died Sunday, June 1, 2003, after a courageous battle with cancer, in Ft. Myers, Fla.
Born in Camp Hill, Pa., Mrs. Stauffer resided in Ft. Myers for the past 25 years, previously re siding in Sharon Center. Along with her husband, she operated Stauffer's Furniture Village in Sharon Center for 30 years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sharon Center and Chapel by the Sea in Ft. Myers Beach. Her activities included Brownie, Girl Scout, and Den Mother Leader, the China, Burma, India Association, Airstream Travel Club, Ohio Hardware Association, Wadsworth Airman's Association, and Sharon Spring Water Co. She was an avid world traveler, and loved to take care of her family.
Mrs. Stauffer was preceded in death by her husbands, Blake E. Stauffer and Jack Giordano. She is survived by children, David Stauffer and wife, Lynne, of Medina, Jo Ann Holy and husband, Frank, of Ft. Myers; grandchildren, David and wife, Heather, Christopher and wife, Shelly, and Jeffrey Stauffer, Tracey and Kevin Holy, and Michael Moisio; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Braedon, and Dylan Stauffer.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Hilliard & Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, where funeral services will be held Friday, 11 a.m., Rev. David S. Smith officiating. Interment at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina. Contributions may be made to the Outreach Ministry of St. Paul Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 120, Sharon Center, Ohio 44274.
