BARBERTON -- Paul Kern, 80, passed away May 12, 2008 at his residence.
Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, he had been a Barberton resident most of his life where he retired from Red Star-Jones Motor Freight and also Whitehouse Restaurant.
Preceded in death by his wife, Velma; son, James; and brothers, William, Donald, Vance and Dennis; survivors include his daughter, Denise (Dave) Koncz; son, Ron Kern all of Barberton; grandchildren, Kim (Glenn) Waller Jr. and David, Michael, Mark and Brian Koncz; great-grandchildren, Alysia, Mia, Brian and Logan; sister, Lugene (Conrad) Baston of French Creek, W. Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2008, 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park Ivy Chapel, Elder Wyatt Patterson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 4904 Quick Rd., Peninsula, OH 44264.

Ronnie and Family,
